For the second time in a week, the wizards at Broadcast Architecture announce a new syndicated format! "Feel Good Country" debuts April 1.BA owner/President Allen Kepler cautions that in this case, the word "country" does not "refer to a substandard style of twangy music enjoyed by Americans of lower class." Rather, he says the new format should appeal to anyone who is pleased with the country (nation) they live in.
"People want to hear songs that remind them of the great country in which they reside," Kepler said, pointing to stacks of research print-outs which allegedly document the 35-44 year old "people" he targets with the new satellite-fed format.
Core artists of the new "Feel Good Country" format include Sade (pictured), Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys, Jason Mraz, Norah Jones, George Benson, John Mayer, Phil Collins, Beyonce, Maroon 5, Seal, Colbie Callait and Kenny G.
